| Job Description: | Work with embedded applications group to develop new products that provide significant growth opportunities for Commercial PC division. This job involves working in the networking stack on Linux. You will be developing solutions for wired as well as wireless networking such that it runs on next generation platforms and modules. You will also be optimizing the system for performance, power and responsiveness. Knowledge and Skills 8+ years of software development experience in Linux on x86 PCs Excellent in C programming, OS concepts and Linux internals Ability to understand and create/modify shell scripts and daemons Linux networking experience is required. Both Wired and Wireless Experience with both the kernel and user space aspects of the network stack Connection Management and Configuration IPTABLES Bridge/NAT configuration IPv6 experience a plus WWAN experience a plus Must be able to write functional/design documentation Must be able to write and execute unit test plans Ability to analyze, isolate, describe and prioritize defects in a complex software/hardware environment Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. |
