Job Description:  Deep Learning Compiler Architect

• Get in on the ground floor of new efforts to develop programming models for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms. This gr0up develops specialized processors capable of delivering orders of magnitude better efficiency for convolutional and recurrent neural networks used in computer vision and audio applications.
• You will be a part of the effort to provide state of the art inference at the edge solutions and a member of a team building the next generation of our Neural Network Compiler shipped alongside our core HW AI technology
Your responsibilities will include:
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and expertise to develop a deep learning compiler stack
• Innovating and developing techniques and algorithms into our processors and specialized HW
• Working in close collaboration with the our application engineering team to support customers of the product (some amount of direct customer interaction may be required)
Required qualifications:
• MS+ degree in Computer Science or related field, minimum of 5 years of experience leading complex software projects (preferably in compiler design)
• Experience building state-of-the-art production compilers with large customer base
• In-depth understanding of optimizing compiler architectures, optimization and analysis stages, as well as code generation
• Very strong hands-on engineering skills and expertise in large-scale software development, projects with large codebases
• Ability to build, enhance and maintain testing, debugging and release infrastructure
• Very strong interpersonal, collaboration and verbal/written communication skills
Desired technical qualifications:
• Knowledge of and experience with LLVM compiler stack is very desirable
• Prior work with deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Caffe/2, etc.) and neural net exchange formats (ONNX, NNEF) (strong plus)
• Familiarity with the state-of-the-art deep learning compilation approaches (e.g. XLA, Glow, NNVM, TVM, Tensor Comprehensions) (strong plus)
• Familiarity with various deep learning networks and their applications (Classification/Segmentation/Object Detection/RNNs)
