| Job Description: | Work as a Heterogeneous Systems Architecture tools developer for profilers and debuggers. Interface with tool developers, architects, and performance analysis engineers to advance the support of the company's profilers and debuggers for our CPUs, GPUs and APUs. Define and develop the company's new platform support for the Systems Architecture tool suite. Interact with tools architects to design and implement support for the latest processor architecture and micro-architecture features used by SW developers. Interface with SQA team to define validation requirements, review test plans and implement bug fixes. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS and 5-7+ years experience, MS and 3-5+ years experience, or Ph.D and 1+ years experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science. Fluency with the C and C++ Programming Languages. Proven experience developing systems-level tools for microprocessors. Any of the following are a plus: oprofile / perf or performance counters on Linux, gdb and/or other debugging solutions, C#, Java, .NET, basic knowledge of modern microprocessors including micro-architectural features. |
